Editable Templates and Workshops
JOIN the Think Write Read Community and get the Workshop for FREE!
These templates help you to match the steps of writing Instruction outlined in The Writing Revolution to the CONTENT that YOU ARE TEACHING! Learning about the Vampire Squid, the fall of the Berlin Wall, or reading Little Women? Want to create writing tasks for your student based on that content, which perfectly match their needs and developmental level? This will help you to do it!
When you join the Think Write Read community (US$100), you get FREE access to everything in the Google Classroom - editable templates, information about grammar, handwriting, spelling, reading, monthly live zooms, all live workshops.
Editable TWR Templates
I have created over seventy editable templates to use when implementing the TWR approach. You can download these to your computer and use them to create writing activities quickly and easily, with all formatting taken care of for you. The full set of templates is included in your membership and includes free access to the live workshop, or the asynchronous recordings.
Live Zoom Workshops
The 6 hour workshop walks you through over seventy different TWR activities in a step by step way. I also explore the theory of writing instruction, grammar and literacy development. You can ask questions, create materials, get real time feedback and network with other practitioners. The workshop is FREE when you join the Think Write Read Community.
Planning and Implementation
I show you how to make the most of the approach for your homeschool, Montessori classroom or one-on-one therapy session. I explain how I choose source material, how I determine what activities best match each child's needs, how I pace the activities, and how I use the activities recursively.
